Princess Elizabeth Tudor:
She is the
beloved Princess of Wales, and the only daughter of the widowed, Queen
Genevieve and the heir to the throne. She longs to be out of the palace
gates to explore the land she will soon rule over.
Princess Elizabeth is
kind-hearted and opens up quite easily to the people around her. She is
interested in her tutor, Julian. She is betrothed to the King
of Spain, King Dominick.
Queen Genevieve Tudor:
She
is the widowed Queen of Wales. She trusts the opinion of her right-hand, Preminger,
but she is fully capable of handling the bigger decision on her own.
She keeps
her daughter within the palace because she just doesn’t trust her daughter to
the dangers in the kingdom. She is kind-hearted but firm. She gets what she
wants but is just a bit too trusting.
King Dominick:
He
is a soft-hearted, romantic, gentlemanly and smart king from Spain. He is
betrothed to the Princess of Wales, Princess Elizabeth, but he meets Tina
Canty instead. He knows when to trust and when not to.
Julian:
The tutor is
the Princess, and he has hidden his feelings for her for quite some time now.
He is willing to do anything for the welfare of the Princess and is also
willing to sacrifice a lot more.
He is faithful to the Kingdom of Wales and its
rulers. He is wary of Preminger and he is know how to
take precautions.
Preminger:
He
is the right-hand of the Queen but he is a traitor in more ways than one. He is
using the royal family to gain money and soon take over the throne.
He has also
been stealing from the kingdom with the help if his little henchmen, Nick
and Nack. He wants to be the next king by means of marrying the
Princess or the Queen. He is a power-hungry and treacherous man.
Tina Canty:
The
only daughter of the Cantys and her parents have been loaning from Madame
Carp to feed their family. Tina is a seamstress in Madame Carp’s Dress
Emporium.
She has been making beautiful dresses for very little in return. Madame
Carp’s
excuse is that she has to pay for the borrowed money of her parents. She longs
to be out and be free from her debt but she doesn’t want to abandon something
she is responsible for.
Madame Carp:
Madame
Carp owns a large Dress Emporium where she uses the ladies who have debts to
her as seamstresses, one of them would be Tina Canty. She keeps them in a prison-like place and makes them work long
hours for their debts and additional ‘interest’.
She is an unforgiving and mean
lady. She lies to impress, maybe a little more than what is good for her. She’s
dishonest and she just doesn’t show mercy. She sucks up to people with power
for she wants recognition and connections.
Nick and Nack:
Nick
and Nack are the henchmen of Preminger. They do all of his
biddings without thinking of what is in it for them. They are uneducated and
they don’t even know what they’re doing most of the time. They just follow
their Boss and do everything to please him.
Miled Henderson:
He
is the disowned son of the Henderson family. He is a kind and warm-hearted
gentleman. He is willing to help everyone who needs it and wants nothing in
return.
He is bright and cheerful but doubtful. He will come across the
Princess but he won’t believe anything she says, but he helps her
none-the-less.
